China's total installed capacity of solar power generation exceeds 400 million kilowatts

Now stands a new step of 400 million kilowatts, which is very close to the installed capacity of hydropower, 410 million kilowatts of installed capacity is equivalent to the total installed capacity of 18 Three Gorges power stations. According to the 2023 National Energy Work Conference, the installed capacity of solar power will reach about 490 million kilowatts this year.
Power investment completion, from January to February, the country's major power generation enterprises to complete investment in power supply projects 67.6 billion yuan, an increase of 43.6%. Among them, solar power 28.3 billion yuan, an increase of nearly 200%. Hydropower, nuclear power, wind power and other clean energy to complete the investment accounted for 90.4% of the completed investment in power supply. From January to February, the national cross-regional and cross-provincial power delivery grew faster than the same period last year. The data released by the China Electricity Council shows that the national cross-regional power delivery completed 119.8 billion kilowatt hours, an increase of 23.8%; provinces to send a total of 269.8 billion kilowatt hours of electricity, an increase of 13.4%.
